We are happy to welcome you to your new residence. We look forward to a
lasting and enjoyable relationship with all of our tenants. Therefore,
we have inspected your apartment prior to your lease date and know of
no mold or leaks anywhere in your unit.
Mold is a visible growth of fungus and may cause illness. If the premises are not properly maintained by the you, the tenant and
moisture is allowed to accumulate be advised that mold may grow.
It is important to allow air to circulate, especially in wet areas such
as the kitchen or bathroom. Please open a window or allow the fan to
run for some time after a shower or bath. It is also important to keep
the unit clean so that mold or mildew does not flourish.
Please report all leaks or moisture problems to the landlord
immediately so that they may be fixed and the unit kept free excessive
moisture or dampness.
Excessive moisture can be created by:
- Bathroom use where air circulation is not allowed. Please use the fan or open a window

Pipes that leak or drip or sweat

Overflow from kitchen appliances or Laundry room appliances or the bathroom

Incomplete cleaning of spilled liquids that remain in crevices and under cabinets

Openings such as windows kept open during inclement weather
Residents Understandings:
Residents agree to report any and all Mold growth immediately
Resident agrees to maintain a clean apartment to prevent Mold and Mildew
Resident agrees to use bathroom fans frequently
Resident agrees to close all windows in inclement weather to prevent water intrusion
Residents agree to hold harmless and indemnify Owner/Managers from any
actions, claims, losses damages and expenses including, but not limited
to attorney fees that the Owner/Agent may incur as a result of the
negligence of the resident or any guest or occupant living in this
residence
